Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Digital Channel LLC (“Digital Channel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use organic.marketing (the “Service”). organic.marketing is a brand operated by Digital Channel LLC, and Digital Channel LLC is the entity (the “data controller”) responsible for your personal information. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (passwords are managed securely by our authentication provider; we do not see them in plain text).
- Business profile — the information you share during onboarding and in settings, such as your business name, industry, audience, offers and pricing, goals, and writing samples.
- Content and inputs — the prompts, inputs, and material you submit to the Service, and the Output it generates for you.
- Communications — information you provide when you contact us or submit a form (for example, your email and message).
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card details. We retain only limited billing information needed to manage your subscription — such as your plan, subscription status, billing period, and the identifiers Stripe assigns.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — such as pages viewed, actions taken, browser and device type, and IP address (which indicates approximate location), collected through product analytics and our infrastructure logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see the next section.
2. Cookies, Analytics & Tracking
- Essential cookies — required to sign you in and keep you logged in. The Service cannot function without these.
- Product & web analytics — we use PostHog, a privacy-focused, first-party analytics tool, to understand how the website and app are used so we can improve them. This uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize your browser across visits (for example, to understand which channel a sign-up came from). It may include session replay — a privacy-masked reconstruction of on-page interactions in which all form fields and text you type are automatically hidden and never recorded.
We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting pixels, we do not use your information to serve you ads or to track you across other websites, and we do not sell your personal information. Our analytics are first-party and are never shared with advertisers. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings (disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from working), and we honor browser-level privacy signals — when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT) signal, we do not load analytics for you. Where required by law, we will obtain consent for non-essential cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the Service, including generating strategies and content for you;
- To process payments and manage your subscription;
- To send you transactional and account emails (for example, welcome, billing, security, support, and account notices);
- To respond to your questions and provide support;
- To maintain, secure, and improve the Service and develop new features;
- To prevent fraud and abuse and to comply with legal obligations.
4. AI Processing
To generate strategies and content, the Service sends your inputs and relevant profile context to a third-party AI provider, which processes them to produce Output. This processing is necessary to provide the core features of the Service. Our AI provider acts on our behalf under contract and does not use the data submitted through its interface to train its models.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:
Service providers (sub-processors)
We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. They process information only on our behalf, under contract, and only as needed to provide their services to us. These include providers of:
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure;
- Database, authentication, and secure data storage;
- AI processing (see Section 4);
- Payment processing;
- Email delivery and communications;
- Product and web analytics.
A current list of the specific providers we use is available on request by emailing team@organic.marketing.
Other disclosures
- Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
- Within Digital Channel LLC — among the people and systems operating Digital Channel’s brands, for the purposes described here.
- With your consent — where you direct us to.
6. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA / UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information on these legal bases: to perform our contract with you (to provide the Service); our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service); your consent (where we ask for it, such as certain cookies); and to comply with legal obligations.
7. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored there and in other countries where our providers operate. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or elsewhere, your information may be transferred to countries that may not provide the same level of data protection. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (or equivalent mechanisms) for these transfers.
8. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you close your account, we delete or anonymize your information within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
9. Your Privacy Rights
EEA / UK (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion (“right to be forgotten”);
- Restrict or object to certain processing;
- Request a portable copy of your information;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, to request correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or “share” your personal information (as those terms are defined under California law), and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted by law.
How to exercise your rights
To make a request, email us at team@organic.marketing. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also exercise certain rights directly in your account settings.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Do Not Track
Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. There is no common standard for responding to them, so we do not currently respond to such signals.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
